Come along to participate in the CARMBA committee meeting. Meetings can be attended by any member, and we would love to have ideas and help to make the CARMBA community the best it can be. You don't have to formally volunteer on the committee to contribute, we would love one off help for events that interest you!    Draft agenda: -plan Mother's Day and seek for volunteers, approve budget (10min) -pencil in 2024 events, seek volunteers, approve budget if needed (major events, committee meetings, expectant parents) (15min)  -proposed updates to modernise running of committee (including streamlining functions of volunteer roles; invest communication method) (20min) -seek volunteer to assist with applications for funding. A playgroup for CARMBA families for ages 0-5 run out of the ACT playgroup's playrooms during school terms. We would love to see Dads, Grandparents and other Carers if they have are looking after the kids! Multiplay is the place to come to meet other families, and to practice getting out of the house. There is always a friendly face and support on the hard days- from unsettled newborns, the terrible twos, and more rambunctious preschoolers!  With activities and toys for all ages, a large heated indoor play space, and big fully fenced yard, come along, enjoy some company while the kids have fun.   We would love to see some new faces- please contact Ali if you have any questions about attending. Come long to our weekend play group at Club Kalina, hosted by our wonderful Vikki!  There are games / activities for the kids as well as a nice hot cuppa and a chat for all of the adults. Non- Members - $4 per family  no RSVP required, please email committee@carmba.org.au for any enquiries , or message us on Facebook.

Come and join us for our 0-2 catch up at the botanic gardens. We will meet at 10am at Pollen cafe for a drink and chat followed by a stroll around the gardens or lay out a rug on the lawns depending on how everyone feels. Come by anytime between 10 and 12 to connect with other multiple families and get out of the house for an hour or two. New and expectant parents of multiples are invited to attend a free information session to learn more about life with multiple birth children. The New and Expectant Parents' Information Session is a service provided by CARMBA to the community thus membership is not required to attend the event. Topics for discussion include the unique features of pregnancy, birth and feeding multiples, as well as time to answer all your burning questions! If you have a particular topic or question you would like to make sure is covered, please email Natalie - memberships@carmba.org.au  The information session will be held as a coffee catch-up at the Sourthern Cross Club at Jamison. Please register for a free ticket to the event!
